Non-guild Group Policy
Courtesy First.
This is the most crucial rule in the grouping policy. Guild members
should not expect their mates to suddenly drop a group they are
in simply because you popped online.
At the same time, members should not completely ignore guild members
when they are in a group of non-guildies.
Think about the situation. What's more important to you? The experience
points or comradere with guild mates. If you really can't decide
between the two, see if you can make a compromise.
Whatever you decide, be polite. Ask the group leader if your guild
mate can join. If that group leader is rude about it, it's best
to just leave that group, no matter how good the XP is. If that
leader apologizes and says the new arrival is too low, let your
guildmate know but offer some sort of compensation, such as an offer
to group with him at a certain time, or help him/her find another
group.
Always be polite. Always look at it from the other perspective.
And always keep your guild mates in mind. We assume you did not
join this guild just to take what you need, so you must also give
of yourself, your time, your skills, your consideration.
